The visual identity for the Letten Prize is created by Egon Låstad.
The logo symbol comprises several pictorial elements with the image of a globe, emphasising the global aspirations of the Letten Prize.
The prize is initiated by the Letten Foundation, and the yellow symbol of a neurone is a nod towards its founder, professor and neurophysiologist Letten F. Saugstad.
The symbol of a human being, which can be seen in the senter of the globe, symbolises future applicants, researchers and winners of the Letten prize. The symbol also contains a reference to the Young Academy of Norway, partner of the Letten Prize.
